Muenster School of Architecture to utilise our software!

A new course at (MSA, www.fh-muenster.de), Germany, will show students studying architecture (MSc) how to optimise their designs using IES building simulation tools. Currently the course is in the planning phase, with the beginning of the next semester in October. Students will be taught about building performance keys to rate visual and thermal comfort in buildings, shading, energy demand and environmental impact. They will learn how to use the IES Revit plug-in and simulation tools to obtain those figures. This will allow these students to integrate a building climate and low carbon design optimisation as part of their project design process.
